About

Dietitian For Men (DFM) exists to provide ultra-practical nutrition and lifestyle information, guidance, and advice for men. Content contained on this site shall not be construed to constitute specific professional, medical, health, legal, tax, or financial advice for any individual. All information is for general informational purposes only. We do not provide advice for specific individuals.

Why is your site focused on nutrition exclusively for men?

Only 8% of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN’s) are men. This means that most nutrition information available today is designed exclusively by women. While there is no debate that women are better than men in every way imaginable, this site may help provide a slightly different perspective regarding health topics and a differing method of communication that is unique and valuable to men. What is the difference between your Products page and Shop page?

The Products page lists items mentioned in blogs, articles, or on our website. We do not sell these items directly but we may be compensated by the seller if you follow the link to purchase the items.

The Shop page is our ecommerce website that allows us to sell items directly to our readers. We handle the order processing, fulfillment, and shipping.

Is Dietitian for Men a non-profit organization?

Dietitian For Men is not a 501(c)(3), charity, or any other type of non-profit organization. Dietitian For Men is currently a volunteer site that has no profit. In order to offset our costs, we encourage our followers to purchase items through the Store or Products page when possible so that we may earn some money, invest back into the company, and continually expand our services.

Is your site providing any medical advice?

No. Specific medical advice and treatment should be coordinated by your Physician and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. All content on this site is created for informational purposes only and shall not be construed to diagnose, cure, or treat any medical, health, or other condition. Our content is no substitute for individual patient/client assessment based upon the professional’s examination of each patient/client and consideration of laboratory data and other factors unique to the patient/client.

Why are your blogs categorized and labeled?

Blogs are categorized with labels so they can be searched more efficiently for actionable information. Some blogs, specifically categorized as “Articles” are more in depth, descriptive, and detailed. Some articles may also be written purely for entertainment purposes. For short, direct, actionable advice, skip the articles and follow the other categories.
